As a result of operative-search measures and investigative actions, the employees of Isani-Samgori Main Division of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, detained two citizens of Ukraine - I.H. (DoB 1992) and L.I. (DoB 1992) for theft.
The committed crime envisions from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused I.H. illegally entered an apartment in Tbilisi for the purpose of committing theft, where he unlawfully took possession of the owner’s belongings.
The investigation also established that the accused L.I. broke into one of the houses in Tbilisi with the intention of stealing, however failed to carry out his intent. Afterwards he stole a vehicle belonging to another citizen.
As a result of investigative and operational measures conducted by the law enforcers, the police arrested two citizens of Ukraine as accused persons.
The law enforcement officers seized the stolen items as evidence.
Investigation is in progress under Article 177, Part III, Sub-paragraph "C" and Article 19-177, Part III, Sub-paragraph "C" of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
